It is a unique and comprehensive program designed to equip professionals with the critical knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently manage pre-hospital emergency care. It bridges clinical expertise with managerial and technical competencies, focusing on emerging challenges in emergency medical services (EMS).

It is a first-of-its-kind program launched by IIHMR Bangalore and RED Health, bringing their expertise together as a premier healthcare education university and India’s largest and only JCI accredited EMS company respectively. Globally, such programs are offered by universities like Harvard University and the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK, but there are still no parallel programs in the global south that prepare EMS professionals for leadership roles.

Educational Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in:

• Medicine (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS)
• Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with additional qualifications)
• Allied Health Sciences (B.Sc. in Paramedical Sciences, Emergency Care, or related fields)

Diploma holders in Paramedical or Emergency Medical Services with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in healthcare or EMS.

Work Experience (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Experience in healthcare, emergency medical services, or related fields is desirable.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in EMS and pre-hospital care are also eligible.

Age Limit: Applicants should ideally be between 21-35 years of age. Exceptions can be made for experienced professionals.

Other Requirements:

• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer usage for data management and IT applications in EMS.

11 months including 9 months of classes and 2 months of internship.

Most of the program will be delivered offline in Bangalore as the program focuses on practical skill development and hands-on practice. However, there will also be certain online components such as discussions with industry leaders and other activities.

The total fee for the program is INR 3,00,000/-
